EB was founded by a group of dedicated parents, and volunteering is still an essential part of school life. The school’s longstanding tradition of enthusiastic volunteer involvement makes a huge difference: everything from major events to everyday things like carpool runs more smoothly because so many parents are willing to donate their time and talents. Of course, participation in children’s classrooms is rewarding for parents, teachers, and children alike. Parents’ efforts on behalf of the school are concrete proof that EB is a closely-knit, international community working together to ensure the best possible educational experience for our children.
The school recommends that each family volunteer at ten hours per school year, including 1-2 hours of carpool duty for parents with children in grades K through 5.
If you would like to volunteer in your child’s classroom, please talk to the teacher or room representative. If you would like to volunteer for an event, contact the chair of the event (listed in the EB directory) or contact Michael Morris, Advancement Coordinator ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
